About the Part-Time Jobs Program
The Part-Time Jobs Program
locates and develops off-campus job opportunities in the Lawrence area,
including Topeka and the Kansas City Metropolitan area. The program is
federally subsidized by the Job Location and Development (JLD) program
and is sponsored by the University Career Center and the Office of
Student Financial Aid.
The goal of the Part-Time Jobs Program is
to assist current KU students in obtaining part-time or seasonal
full-time off-campus jobs. Any off-campus employer may post a job on
the Part-Time Jobs Program website and all currently enrolled KU
students may view
the job postings.
Employer Benefits
The Part-Time Jobs Program website is free and easy to use.
- Employers simply register to create and account and then login to
create a job posting.
- KU students represent a pool of qualified employees with diverse skills and experiences.
- KU undergraduate and graduate students from all KU campuses and all departments have access to the job postings.

Register for an Account with

Step 4.
Post an Off-Campus Job after logging into
KUCareerHawk.com
Step 5. After receiving approval of your job posting,
Search Off-Campus Jobs to view the posting.
Step 6. Complete a
Hire Report, to help us track the effectiveness of the Part-Time Jobs Program

Kansas Career Work-Study
The Kansas Career Work-Study Program (KCWS) is a state-funded program
intended to provide off-campus employers with an incentive to hire KU
students in career-related positions. For information about the program, go to the
