Parents play an important role guiding their college students in the career development process. To help keep you informed about University Career Center services, workshops, and events as well as timely topics, we maintain a Parents section on our website and publish a fall and spring newsletter. The parent newsletter delivered by email contains a list of upcoming workshops and events, articles written by University Career Center staff featuring KU events and career development topics, and links to articles of interest. You can use this information to guide your student in the use of the University Career Center and encourage your student to prepare for and attend educational and networking events. Additionally, please feel free to look at the presentation we give at New Student Orientation for parents. It provides a good overview of our office and the services we provide to students.
