Critical Conversations Panel

The Benefits of Attending & Presenting at Professional Conferences

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

12:00-1:00pm

Pine Room, 6th Floor, Kansas Union

Co-Sponsored by the Emily Taylor Women's Resource Center and the University Career Center

Why wait until after graduation to make your mark on your industry? Attending and presenting at professional conferences can be a great way to get your name out there, network with established professionals in your field, and grow as an up-and-coming member of your professional community. Panelists will answer questions and share their expertise on the benefits of attending and presenting at professional conferences as a student.

Feel free to bring your lunch with you for this brown-bag style event!

Also consider attending the Mock Interview Clinic (click image below for details/registration)
