School District/Organization Information
The
University
Career
Center
invites school districts and educational organizations to attend our 10th annual Education Career Fair at KU.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet education students in their final year of the five-year teacher education program, as well as to network with third- and fourth-year students who will be job seekers in a year or two. This is your best opportunity to sell your schools and communities to students who will soon be seeking employment!
Check back soon to download our 2009-10 School of Education Highlights outlining the number of teacher education students graduating in each of our endorsement areas.
The Education Career Fair is primarily an information fair where school districts will have the opportunity to meet and network with interested students and teacher candidates. However,
if you find an exceptional student with whom you would like to visit further, there will be space available for those conversations.
We will market this event to all students admitted to the teacher education program as well as those in support areas such as social work, speech-language pathology, and school psychology. The fifth-year teacher education students will have completed their initial student teaching experience and will be looking forward to their internships and the job search. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity to make contact with job seekers early! Third- and fourth-year students will be seeking information about your schools to get a head start on their own career development
